Email Strangeness on Port 26

Having problems with your imap not working on outgoing mails? Well I noticed that port 26 for outgoing mail is the problem. I changed it to the default 25 in outlook and now everything works fine. Its not that 26 doesnt work, its that it is very flaky.

We have ports 25 and 26 open so that you can use the standard ports, and if your isp blocks the port 25 or makes you use their smtp servers you can then just use port 26 to bypass that.
