    Can you name them? I've been quite outspoken recently, because I think JPC has some major issues. As have others. But I've also, in the last few days, congratulated JPC on a number of things. And I continue to praise the more experienced techs, here and in the ticket system. Of course you would know that, as you speak with the wisdom and knowledge of someone who has access to the ticket system.

    What newbie you, and some of the present crop of JPC managers, completely fail to understand is that some of the old hands are making a lot of noise right now because they care.

    I think Greg understands this now.

    With all this fuss about spam emails from JPC, I thought I might actually have a look at the 'giveaway' programme, and think about putting an affiliate link on one of my high traffic websites.

    So I start reading, and come to this:

    "Eligibility: Must be 18 Years of Age, Must be Legal U.S. resident, Must be in good standing as an affiliate member."

    Huh? Fail!

    I've commented before about JPC not really understanding the word 'international', and here's another example.

    Hey Bell Thorpe, there is no need to name people. It is all good. Everything is fine and we all look forward to making things better for us, as customers and Jag as our provider.
    I think you bring a lot of good knowledge and experience, and I do think you and others have valid points, but I think there can be a more appropriate way to address the concerns without insults and bashing. (Not saying you did this, but in general)

    Greg is around and he does monitor the forums, plus there is many ways to contact Greg if needed.

    I enjoy all your technical and experience posts, quite good. Hopefully we can turn the forums around and use them to promote good topics, solutions and advice, tips, etc.

    Thanks for all the posts you made to help me with questions as well.

    I have made this exact point in some private communications.
    There is nobody here that is/was making noise that wants this company to fail. Quite the contrary.

    This is not the appropriate thread to argue out a difference of opinion we have on that issue, unless you really wanna hash out again the reason for the strident, obstreperous behavior.

    Thank you for checking out the promotion. The issue was not the fact that we did not want to include the international community (we have staff around the world), the issue is customs. There are some countries we could not ship the prize to, etc. If you would like to participate and your drawn, I'll make sure you get a prize.

    Never a day goes by when I don't learn sumthin. I'm not afraid to look things up I don't understand. I write using the best words I know to express my meaning and expecting people to understand. If they don't they can go look it up or ask.

    Hmmmm, that doesn't come out right. Whatever. I write as if my audience is smart, unless I'm writing for a non-adult audience or where extreme easy clarity is required.

    I would also hope that people don't dumb things down for me to ensure comprehension.
