Cool Bandwidth Meter DSL 1.02 (PHP-Nuke) Released 17-Apr-2005

I don't know how many 'Nukers' we have on this web board, but I released my much anticipated, and ballyhooed, 'Bandwidth Meter DSL' module this weekend. I've been tweaking it for about 4 months, and it seems quite stable and accurate. It was designed primarily for ISP's and resellers, but it makes a nice 'toy' for any PHP-Nuke web site.

If you're interested in stuff like this, here's the link: Bandwidth Meter DSL 1.02 (3.71 MB)

BTW, if you want to see it in action, e.g. test your bandwidth: http://www.lenon.com/bandwidth-meter-dsl.html

EDIT: As a sidenote, if nothing else, this serves as a demonstration of the 'speed' of JagPC servers, yes? Mind you, I'm on a $5.95/mo 'shared server', not a 'dedicated server'.

If you wondered if bandwidth is 'metered' here, I guess 'Bandwidth Meter DSL' proves otherwise! That screenshot is from JagPC in Houston to a DS3 connection in Phoenix.

I've 'seen' ppl at JagPC test their bandwidth with this program, directly across their LAN/WAN, and it 'only' clocks 10-11 Mbps...

Cool, Vin! It is a nice 'toy'. I'm running xoops, though !
For every human problem, there is a neat, simple solution; and it is always wrong.
