    E-mail, forwarding problem

    Hello,

I have a few POP emails setup on my account and I have them being forwarded to my ISP email accounts. How do I set it up so the emails get deleted off the server?

IE - Messages are getting forwarded but they are not being removed from the server and I have large MB of email on the server which I go in under webmail and delete.

    Thanks,
    Scott

Using a redirect instead of a forward might do the trick. Should be able to find that in the Control Panel.

Why keep them as POP accounts if you are just going to forward the mail to another account? Just set up aliases (known as forwarders in the CP). They do what you want: they take an email sent to your domain and redirect it to another address (without keeping a copy around).

    Thanks!

Thanks guys... I'll do that. =)

They were originally set up as POP as I was using them for a period as I moved into a new home and transferred to a new DSL provider.

    Not working?

I don't see what else I can do? The only option is forwarding and that's what I'm doing.

Delete the POP accounts and set them up as forwarders instead. Forwarders just redirect the message to one or more different addresses. They don't keep a copy on the server.
