    jaguarpc backup

If you make regular backup of all servers, why you do not offer backup recovery service.
For example if someone get hacked or delete some files by mistake.
Can you restore particular folder or database?
If yes please write price for this service.
    something like
    single database restore = $??
file or folder restore = $??
    full VPS restore = $??

VPS plans are not backed up to my knowledge.

I pay for a backup becuase it's much easier (cheaper) to explain that we lost a days worth of data to a client(s) than saying that I didn't understand the TOS on hosting and have lost all their data.

I believe those back ups are for the event of a server crashe. I think you can pay Jag to restore a back up if the problem is on your end.

Keep in mind their backups are sometimes corrupted. Do not rely on them. Always have your own backups.

That's exactly what he's asking for, a pay service for restores from the emergency backups.

The price has been thrown around here before, and it is rather expensive. I think it was an hourly rate for research and recovery if I'm not mistaken.

IMHO, it is probably better for you to subscribe to JPC's backup services. Not is it good insurance (extra redundancy with JPC's standard backups), but since you control it you'll know exactly what you have backed up at any given time. Plus you can access the data at any time for free.

It depends: http://forums.jaguarpc.com/showpost....71&postcount=8 . Quite possibly it is counted normally for your VPS. Best ask sales.

For me weekly backup is just OK (or maybe twice a week) and some fee should be involved.
I just want peace in mind, for example if someone hack my site that you can make database recovery so I can bring my site back.

If you want true 'piece in mind', you should maintain your own backups -- not depend on others!

Also, regarding fees, I suggest you read this...
