    Why JaguarPC?
The bottom line is because we truly care! We have been in this industry since 1998 and know we owe that all to our loyal clients. We put the client first in everything we do from tightly controlled and monitored machines to overall network performance. We don't sell the cheapest services on the market, we sell the best! Please take this opportunity to join the family here at JaguarPC.

Performance is a must! - Datacenter
We boast connections to multiple major backbone providers connected via multiple Gig-E, OC3 and DS-3 lines. Our enterprise datacenter is connected to network carriers such as Savvis, Telia, Level3, Wiltel, and Global Crossing. We don't stop at bandwidth, without power you won't have any bandwidth. Our power is provided over mutilpe paths and circuits to feed each machine a redundant ongoing power supply via power switching equipment. All that power needs a way to escape. We take cooling very seriously here at JaguarPC. Each cabinet is cooled with forced air and each machine has to pass a rigorous cooling test before being placed in a cabinet.

People to back it up! - Managed services
Our number one asset here at JaguarPC is without doubt our very skilled and gifted team members. Our overqualified staff will be onsite 24/7 to provide you with any assistance you will ever need. We will cover every aspect of support for your vps from setup to repairs. You break it, we fix it!

    We will :
    - provide the initial setup and secure services
    - provide upgrades to your OS including security patches
    - provide free remote hands for troubleshooting
    - provide free hardware replacement
    - provide a customized firewall
    - just about anything you need done serverwide

    FAQ:
Do we allow legal adult content?
    YES, We DO .

Do we allow IRC services on the network?
    No, We do not .

Do the lifetime discounts apply for the account if we change plans later to a higher package?
    You bet, YES SIR!

Can we get the discounts on future addons for this account if we dont buy any now?
    ABSOULTELY!

Can I also get this special?

I signed up around the 18th of August, because there was some talk about an upcoming special back then and there were 2 in July that I missed. Unfortunately, this is the first special since those 2 in July, so I couldn't get one

    Hi,
I'm not a current jagpc client but I might go with the semi-dedicated plan. Is this discount only for VPS?
    Thanks!

    Hello!
I do not have any experience about vps.
    So I have some questions.
What OS and control panel do you recommend? More stable and less resource usage.
Do have the knowledge base can let me learn about the method of operation of vps?
    My English is pretty bad.
I hope you can understand the above questions.

    Paradise,

Currently JPC uses CentOS, a free port of Red Hat Enterprise Linux for their own servers, so they are very knowledgable in that OS. They have actually been using Red Hat variants all along (the original Red Hat, Fedora, etc.), but they should be able to help you with and OS that you choose. I know they'll support most Linux variants and I'm not sure, but they might be able to handle FreeBSD, too.

For low resource cnsumption, jas has been recommending InterWorx. I've personally never used it, so I can comment on it any further than that. cPanel is another popular chose around here because of its features and industry ubiquity, but it is not all that resource-friendly. If you go with CP you'll want to start with either the Freedom VPS plan or, at minimum, the Discovery plan with double the RAM.

The best thing about JPC is that they are noob-friendly. The support staff with gladly help you through the issues of being a first time sys admin and these forums will get all of your questions answered.
