The card in one of the main switches went out and was quickly swapped out. This was the cause of the network wide outage at NAC.

There was another issue with the same switch that caused the 2nd network wide outage.

    Throw that switch in trash!

Just kidding, but it happens! Hope no more with the same switch!

I cringe when I here NAC, and now that Pluto is moving there I cringe even more, lol
I have heard bad things about them, using cheap stuff and having problems often, I hope to prove all I heard from wrong. I personally like The Planet and Fortess ITX datacenters, esp Fortress!
We'll be monitoring with our systems to see how things go, hopefully I move will not be in order.

Well, I heard The Planet is overselling their bandwidth.

Got a dedi in the GNAX DC and have never had a problem w/ it (knocking on wood). One of the largest broadband-related industry sites on the 'Net has a bunch of servers in the NAC DC. They run without any problems. So far, so good w/ the NAC servers here, I think.

    Kory

    Direct link to phpMyAdmin

    Hello,

to access ASP.NET Enterprise Manager for MSSQL administration, I can use the link http://mssql.domainname.com.
How can I configure the same for phpMyAdmin, for example: http://mysql.domainname.com. Currently it looks like I have to go always through PLESK to open phpMyAdmin.

    Thanks.

    Hi marcusg70

The way I do this is to set up a subdomain in plesk and then upload phpmyadmin to that subdomain with a superuser name and password in the config file.

Also as this will be viewable on the internet I would change the way you are authorised to use phpmyadmin from "config" to "http" in the config file.

Hop this helps and if you have any more questions dont hesitate to ask.

    Paul
