    Angry DNS lookup failed

We have several sites hosted in JPC.

But we experienced serious downtime in these days.

And the support ticket is not attended since Nov. 1.

We just make a VisualRoute check, and it indicated "DNS lookup failed....."

The network status indicates everything is ok
except Primary DNS ns.nocdirect.com is offline.

Can anybody tell me what going on and what can I do to obtain a reasonable support ?

    Ditto

I am having trouble here too. I can access all my sites from the IP addresses but not the domain names. I have a ticket in waiting a response too. I am no expert but shouldnt the secondary pick up things and redirect?

    DNS not resolving

I've opened ticket 1036416499 re: this issue. I've also sent emails and private messages to JAG and Massod. There appear to be DNS errors. My site nor any of my resold sites can resolve thier names to IP addresses. I've changed my PC to use JaguarPC.net nameservers and they still do not resolve.

This ticket was opened about 8:30 this morning (Eastern Time) and I have not heard anything from Jaguarpc.

    The sites affected are:

    www.pcc-tech.com
    www.emmasgrove.org
    www.ferikesbleynat.com
    www.martin-mcgill.com
    www.meat-comm.com
    www.taxavl.com

The net effect is that my clients cannot access their web sites or email. I could tell my clients to use the IP address instead of the name, but no one else in the world is able to send them email or access their sites either.

    Please Help!!!

I guess it has been fixed now because I was able to access all domains.

    Try this.

    NS.JAGUARPC.NET
    NS2.JAGUARPC.NET

    Hope this helps!

This should have been in the Support Area.

I checked your domain and it doesn't exist on the ns*.jaguarpc.net servers. It is on (and appears to have the correct IP) the aletia servers ns.aletia.com and ns2.aletia.com. Support can probably update the JPC servers to include your name, or you can change the servers with your registrar.

Question DNS LOOKUP FAILED! Can anyone do me a favor?

DNS lookup failed, and still fail everyday!!!

I would like to attach two mail alerts as below from the internet alert company. Despite that uptime and downtime are not scaled by the thirdparty, this can be a well reference to us the ordinary users.

Now, there is no comment or support from JPC, I would like to ask you guys for a kind favor. Tell me what is going on with the JPC DNS server and is there anything we can do by ourselves just to keep our sites as accessible as JPC'S?
