    Can't contact modVPS CS - Email blacklisted

    Hello,

    I'm trying to contact modvps Customer Service due to an emergency migration I need to do from a RZ account to a VPS however my emails are bounced and I only get the following error message:

    [email protected]
    SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:<[email protected]>:
    host modvps.com [207.99.69.222]: 550-Verification failed for <[email protected]>
    550-Previous (cached) callout verification failure
    550 Sender verify failed

    Seems that the account is unreachable, how can I contact ModVPS in cases like this?

    I tried that but the contact form does not send a confirmation email so I don't know if the received the messages or not.

    I contact them yesterday using the contact form and no response yet. Then I tried earlier today but nothing..

    I have exactly the same problem.

    I have opened a couple tickets and they do not appear
    in My Ticket History even hours after submitting my
    requests.

    I dont even receive a confirmation email that
    my emails or support tickets are even getting
    through.

    I sent an email to [email protected] and no reply.

    I sent an email to [email protected], no response.

    Is Customer Service / Tech Support even working?

    I am a NEW customer. I am really worried that
    I made a wrong choice to host my VPS here if
    Customer Service / Tech Support is this bad.

    Yesterday I purchased a vps, and the login information
    to Virtuozzo and WHM is invalid. I have not been
    able to login.

    My VPS .... vps.alvaromendoza.com

    My case is that I received the email: VPS ACCOUNT READY
    but I have not been able to log in to the following

    1. Virtuozzo
    2. WHM

    ERROR MESSAGE: Invalid loging/password

    I have been able to login to FTP and cPANEL, but
    the login info on the email is incorrect, specifically the
    password. I was able to connect using a password
    generated and sent via another setup autoresponder.

    Please advice.

    You chose right Alvaro HostingZoom is geat and I'm sure this is just a temporary inconvenience. I must say however that the situation is causing me many problems with a client .

    Accouding to this http://www.spamcop.net/w3m?action=bl...=207.99.69.218 the IP address will be unlisted from spamcop in about 5 hours, so I hope this solve the mailing issue.

    The helpdesk on the other hand is affecting me both in my RZ and ModVPS accounts. (is the same helpdesk). The ironic thing is, a very kind support agent opened a ticket for me about my helpdesk issues but I can't reply to it :/.

    I just sent an email from my Yahoo account to [email protected] and got an autoresponder and saw it in our helpdesk. You will not get a confirmation to [email protected]

    I need to perform the migration as soon as posible so is very important for me to know if you received my request.

    I dont see any tickets open for you except for one on awaiting-reply for a migrate to UK server.

    Well that's the ticket where I'm asked to migrate my reseller plan to a VPS, then I sent several requests to ModVPS to begin the migration.

    I'll try again using alternative emails, maybe mine is rejected or blocked for some reason.

    Just to update the topic, I was finally able to open a support ticket in ModVPS using a yahoo account. For other 3 domains the emails were bounced and got the following error:

    550-550-blacklisted at bl.spamcop.net see Blocked - see
    550-550 http://www.spamcop.net/bl.shtml?207.99.69.218
    550 Sender verify failed

    I hope now my issue will be taken care off quickly.

    I was able to post a support ticket via email using
    my Gmail account.

    Previous attempts to open a ticket via my primary
    email or via web were unsuccessful.

    Something is not working with the ticket support
    system.

    Anyway, my newly created ticket is:
    793859

    I have to say Kiet was very kind and addressed this issue promptly. Thank you Kiet to you and the guys.

    Still have not tried to submit any ticket with my mail so I don't know if the helpdesk issue solved for my particular case, but the urgent issue I had (migrate an account), Kiet solved it very quickly ;-).

    Actually spamcop got us listed for some reason and your email provider uses them as a RBL which gets your emails rejected.

    Yes I can see that now, after you go unlisted from spamcop I was able to submit a ticket correctly.
