    Cpanel Backups

Do we have a seperate mount that we can store backups on. I noticed in the backup section of whm it says /backup is the location. My question is, is this /backup a seperate disk mount or is this being stored on the same disks as the vps?

Also does anyone know of any good service for remote backup?

I think that yopu need to create /backup directory in your VPS. The backups will be in the same disk of your VPS.

Have you considered an Apache installation on your desk top?
You could FTP via a cron job everyday to your own machine.

I had Apache installed but removed it and never tried this myself but I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard.

TouchSupport as been proved to work very well for us. They provide a VPS for backups. Works very well.

    Cheers,
