    Email spoofing

Sorry if this question sounds lame, but I wonder if anyone can give me info on email spoofing.

I'm getting loads of bounced and failure notice emails in my inbox. In looking at the headers, the original emails appear to be sending out from ficticious email accounts from my domain.

I only have 1 active email account on my domain. Is there a way to stop my domain being used for spoof emails..

I a word, "no". I'm afraid there is no way to stop spammers doing this, but you 'can' filter out the failed/bounced messages resulting from the spoofing.

ant0 is right, there is no way to stop that.

I sometimes get hundreds of those bounce and failure notices but almost 99% of them is seen as spam by spamassassin and dropped in my spambox.

So my tip would be to activate spamassasin if you haven't already.
