    Informal Intro.......

    Hey you guys & gals,

Felt I should stop by and say howdy..... after signing up for hosting with these guys.

I have spent the last 2 weeks looking at site after site.......and getting pretty confused in the process. (not that this is anything uncommon)
With so many hosting outifts its hard to sift thru them.

Combined with the advice of fellow sitepointers, and reading *extensively* the forums at WHT, Aletia won out......... hands down!!
And YES, I certainly glanced over a lot of the threads here....... to get a feel of how everyones comfort level was holding out. Looks like Aletia has had a few minor bugs, and to the sites on certain servers, experiencing a fair amount of downtime. Personally, I think Aletia's staff stayed on top of things and tried to keep everyone updated on the forums. So to the Staff....... heres my pat on da back !!!!!

Even with the absence of a toll-free number for support, I think Aletia is a step-ahead of the game. (My crystal ball says, Aletia will soon have phone support too)

Now its time to "cowboy up" and get the party started.......... so without furhter adiux

    Party Time

P.S. I may be back in a few days.........
{Kicking, Screaming, and even more bald-headed than I am.....} Pleading for assistance

Aletia does have a 800 number, but it's for emergency purposes only. It's not exactly what you were predicting, but it's something...

isn't Virginia east of Mississippi? New England is more interesting than Virginia

    Without looking at the Atlas

    Well Clio,

You are correct to an extent.........

Virginia, is almost "due northeast" from my vantage point(location).

I have yet to make my way to the New England area, in due time though, in DUE TIME. I have an online friend which lives in the "great state of maine" so I can relate to what ya say. He's sent me some pics and I must admit, they were awe inspiring to say the least.

Nothing deregatory intend towards any other state out there at all...........just a casual observation

cool. You *must* come to New England sometime, it's really nice up here.

I've been to Virginia, it's okay, but I'm still in love with New Engalnd.
