    Directory Protection?

    Can you use the directory protection feature to allow only certain people view a specific page of your website? If so, how?

    Yes
    1. Create a folder that you would like to protect.
    2. Go to Directory Protection (on the main CPanel screen) </>
    3. Find the folder you want as explained on the top of the Directory Protection page </>
    4. Check Lock (next to the picture of a lock ) and give it a name. Then you can create users (and their passwords) on the bottom of that page

    </> = wait for a new page to load

    If these instructions make no sense...just let me know. I'm a little tired right now

    Tried It

    I tried all that and still couldn't get it to work. The one thing I couldn't figure out was they only give your three folders to protect, even when I created one it did not appear there.

    And how do you remove directory protection - could not see an option for that?
