    uh ohhhhhhh on tiger machine *updated*

    What in the heck did happen now? Can anyone help me figure out what happened to my account.......

    my disk usage dropped from only 4 mgs down to less than 1.

    bandwidth jumped from about 4 mgs up to near 20 mgs.

    amazingly enough, I can not access my home page either..........

    ANXIETYMATRIX.COM is the domain in question. Please help me figure this out

    Thanks

    you have to post your server name if you want to see if somebody else on the same server has something similiar to your problem.

    about CP, send an email to Aletia.

    as far as I can see they updated DarkOrb up to version 4.2.0-STABLE_35

    Forbidden Access, 404 errors in bowser: Can't edit my site with FP2002 either!

    When I try to access "my site" from the only machine I own,
    I get the following errors:
    our account is on tiger.nocdns.com
    ~~~~~~~~~~
    Forbidden
    You don't have permission to access / on this server.
    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Apache/1.3.20 Server at www.anxietymatrix.com Port 80
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    I have changed the password in the paranoia that
    someone may have hacked the site. I have also, checked
    the CHMOD for everything in my filemanager, some of
    the files did show a 644, and I am not so sure as to
    how they were changed.

    I realize you folks may be on the floor about now,
    over my "little" problem. I beg of you to help me figure out how to solve this delima

    I only hope to learn this stuff so one day soon, will be able to offer advice of this very nature myself!

    I just may have that opportunity to know if Aletia ever has to increase their workload to delete our accounts, only to start anew! Sighsssssss :weyes: (this is a question made by me on a thread of JustinJ)

    the forbidden error most likely means you have no index.html file in your parent directory. put one there and then you shall have access.

    never used front page before tho....

    Thanks lady.......

    Clio,

    I have checked the file manager, which shows a index file consisting of only about 8k which is what I had up before this took place.
    In fact, all the files that were suppose to be in my site, shows up in the control panel, as well as when I FTP'd my back up.......... set chmods at 755 for all of them and still nothing.......

    for what its worth...im an old navy man too!!!

    Still get the same error messages as above.......

    *Forbidden Request........with an additional 404 error, TO BOOT!

    Apparently, my Alligator self (edited ) has gotten in a bit deeper than able to maintain:cold:Not giving up though!

    i'm not sure how you're doing this. but it looks like you're trying to have your program upload to your site. just make sure you have a filed called "index.html" in your directory or you'll get that message.

    I typed:
    http://www.anxietymatrix.com/index.html

    and it says: File not found.
    That means that you MUST put a file called index.html into your main directory or you'll continue to get this error. just change your main page to index.html or something. good luck.

    Applying bandages now.....

    Thanks everyone for trying to beat this into my head, haha!

    In retrospect, I think what happened was not having my FTP Client configured properly+ changing a few CHMODS with my new toy! dagnabbit

    After making a few adjustments in FTP Client, clearing the cob webs in my brain. Things are all back in place now!

    You all rock!!! :agree:

    P.S. I can not say enough about Ron Kruis, This man does a fantastic job! I personally think this business, will/should be the "business model" to be replicated for the future! My hat is off to the entire staff of Aletia.

    Thanks again to EVERYBODY !!!
