    Custom error pages and multi-hosted sites

    Is it possible to have a different error document for multihosted sites?

    How do you do this? Is it just a matter of putting one .htaccess file in your main root directory, and then another one in (each of) your multi-hosted directory(s)?

    (does that make sense?)

    Yes, you can specify different error documents for each FOLDER if you wanted to. Just put in a new .htaccess with the error document specifications, and it'll apply to that folder and all subfolders.

    ok one more question about htaccess...

    I'm currently using it to block IPs... Can you do two things at once?

    right now my file looks something like this:

    AuthName "Forbidden"
    AuthType Basic
    <Limit GET POST>
    order allow,deny
    allow from all
    deny from 11.111.11.11
    deny from 22.222.222.22
    </Limit>

    Where do I add the line for the error document?
    ErrorDocument 404 oops.html

    right after the chunk of code u already have?

    just make sure it has its own line and is not in the middle of some other chunk of code.
