    Using postgreSQL?

    Hi all, I'm new here!
I just wonder why Aletia do not have postgreSQL installed? PostgreSQL is free like mySQL. In fact it is a little bit slower than mySQL, however it has more powerfull features than mySQL.
Customers will have more choices on database system if Aletia provides postgreSQL :-)

Maybe postgreSQL is not used because Cpanel doesn't support it.... Well. I don't know how cpanel works, but it came to my mind when I read your post...

It's always good to have various options to choose, but mySQL is now like a standard.

This reason seems...unreasonable to me :-( I need some powerfull features (such as foreign keys and nested/sub queries) that mySQL does not support :-(

Uhmmm... Sorry to say this, but I think you need a more powerful hosting company to achieve that.
