    phpMyAdmin Import

I tried to import a mysql database using phpMyAdmin and selecting an SQL dump text file via the "browse" button on the main page, and hitting the "GO" button.

After a while, I get an error message, something like "no query"

The same file imported fine when I connected via SSH and did:

    mysql -u USERNAME -p newdbname <dump.sql

Is SSH the only way to do it? Just wondering as the phpmyadmin way looks like it's supposed to work, and would be a little easier than connecting via SSH.

SSH the best way to do it.

Thanks, further investigation on my part reveals the error I was receiving is likely due to a 2mb limit that phpMyAdmin can import. The file I was importing was 3.5megs.
