    Hi,
I need something like that too. The PayPal site has something but it's not very detailed and hard to understand. I also looked through the internet and every site used the tutorial pay pal used. So if anyone has this I would also be greatful.
    Thank You,
    Paul

I wrote a page that takes user sign ups for my web hosting and sends it to Paypal subsricption service. I have posted it at http://www.safedatasolutions.com/bla...o%20paypal.txt since I could not get it work as an attachment to this post.

It is done on two pages(yes I know I could have dont it on one). The first page is the form that lets them choose their options and the second page is the one that actually sends it to PayPal. There is some database stuff in there also but you can just ignore that.

If you looking for the shopping cart functionality it should not be much different.

I did not do a lot of cleaning this up so if you have any questions ask.

    Hi,
Thanks for the code but this isn't what I need and don't think it's what zaw needs. What I want to do is send the subscription to PayPal and have it return if the payment is approved or not. If it is approved or not I can have a simple if statement, I just need the string to see if it's approved.
    Thank You,
    Paul

Paypal lets you pass to them a variable of your choosing and when the customer is done Paypal can send them back to a page of your choosing. You can then use that page and the variable to do what ever you want( assuming you have stored the variable on your system somewhere).

Paypal also shots you back an email when the payment is good. You could also use that for your purposes.

    Hi,
Does it send it back only if the order is approved.
    Thank You,

Looking over the PayPal site again seems to be a couple of ways.

    1. IPN - instant payment notification - will send data and information when a payment is recieved to your server
https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/websc...p/acc/ipn-info . I am assuming they will only do this when it is successful

    2. Email - which lists that a signup was sucessful

    3. After a customer signs up you can have them taken to a page you can specify when you set up the PayPal code. I am also assuming this will only work when its successful.
    Info is at https://www.paypal.com/html/subscriptions.pdf

    Safedata,
I have a copy of exactly what you are looking for from a class I took a while back but unfortunatly its too long for me to type up. Shoot me off an email and I will try to get a copy of the txt file from a professor friend of mine. Thanks.
