    Account Setup

Good Evening - I signed up for hosting this afternoon and while I received an instant setup by way of receipt and password for logging into the client section, I haven't received the ip information and sign in information to log into cpanel.

What is the time frame for completing this?

    Thank you.

Unless the process has changed recently, you probably will be setup with an account on Monday. They have to do this part manually, and I don't believe the sales staff works on weekends.

Actually it has changed Vin, its now completely automated and according to Jag it should only take 15 minutes for new accounts to be setup.

I assume in this case that the something has gone wrong meaning that the setup email wasn't sent?

I think that should all be in the same email. Information for the client area, control panel ect.

    Just a thought...

I have always kept my email addy, for the web site, seperate from the web site, i.e. my domain name is Lenon.com, but I don't list (whatever)@lenon.com as the email address, if it concerns registration and so forth. I use an email account at Rocketmail.

Now, what would happen if I transferred here, using (whatever)@Lenon.com as my addy? Would SOME of the mails go to my old host and some to my new web host?

    Hrm...

If you can access the client area I suggest you do so. You should be able to see there if you payment went through or not.

If it didn't, you found the problem and can try to fix it from there or, if that doesn't succeed, by e-mail to [email protected].

If it did you'd best setup a support ticket account (this is something you do yourself, seperate from everything else; press big read button on the ticket page) and put in a ticket asking for those details.
