    468 Days

    My vps node (and my vps) was up for 468 days before the first problem last night, when the main node fell over.

    On Thanksgiving.

    I was notified of the service interruption by email.
    There was a thread in the forum giving progress reports.
    The server was restored before I knew it was down.

    On Thanksgiving.

    There was glitch on my vps which was resolved via ticket about an hour after I supplied login credentials.

    On Thanksgiving.

    30 days later a 6 hour outage. My server apparently never went down but the node was unavailable. There was a thread in the forum but no information in it. No email was received.

    Quite a difference in the communications, which leaves me with a bunch of questions.
